Trick or Treat

Halloween Site Decorating Contest!

Blind Golf Cart Races!

Dress for Trick or Treat! 

 

Bring lots of candy and prepare to hand out to the Trick or Treat children!

Trick or Treat will be confined to the main portion of the park.  No trick or treating at the lake or in the back section of the park.

 

 

The creatures will be everywhere! So, decorate your site for Halloween!

It’s the Halloween Night Site Decorating Contest!

Decorate your site for the Halloween site decorating contest on Sunday night:

Winners will be posted on the camp store bulletin board on Monday morning.

Stop in the store to claim your prize.

 

1st place $100 Visa card

2nd place $75 Visa card

3rd place $50 Visa card

4th place $35 Kayuta Lake gift card

5th place $25 Kayuta Lake gift card

 

Bring candy to pass out to trick or treaters – please expect a lot of children!

Labor Day Weekend

Saturday - September 5th:

Noon – Make your own ice cream sundae or ice cream float – at the camp store $5

1:00 – Archery – sign up at the camp store $5

2:00 – Laser Tag – sign up at the camp store $10

4:00 – Blind Golf Cart Races! – at the pavilion

  • No need to sign up. This is a free event.  You must be at least 16 years of age to participate

  • Drive the Kayuta Lake Campground golf cart!

  • The driver is blindfolded, and their partner must help the driver navigate through the obstacle course and water hazard!

  • 1st place $15 Kayuta Lake gift card

  • 2nd place $10 Kayuta Lake gift card

  • 3rd place $5 Kayuta Lake gift card

 

 

Halloween Sunday - September 6th:

8:30 PM until 10:00 PM – Trick or Treat begins

  • Children should wear a COVID face mask

  • All children are to gather at the swimming pool at 8:30 PM for instructions

  • People passing out candy should sit in their front lawn

  • People passing out candy are required to wear a COVID face mask

  • Trick or Treat is only in the main portion of the camp and not in the primitive section of the park

 

Quiet hours start at 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM - every day.

No radios and no loud talking after 10:00 PM.
